Fox News Show Apologizes To Holy Taco

June 16th, 2008 | 09:32 pm

So, a few days ago, a show called Red Eye on Fox news ran a segment about our 8 Places You Probably Lost Your Virginity piece. In the clip below they talk about the piece, and then at the end of it, they talk about how they're really scraping the bottom to reference a site called holytaco.com. They do that at the end of the clip, last twenty seconds maybe.

Now, really and truly, we could give a shit. Just getting mentioned anywhere is pretty cool, even if it is a show on Fox News that airs at never o'clock. I always just assumed people masturbated to this site, and sometimes when they were done and cleaning up, read some of our articles if their screensaver hadn't started up. But, our boss saw the clip and knows the guy who said we sucked, so he e-mailed him. And here's Fox News' apology:

I'm still not sure when this show even airs. I tried to find it on my DVR and my DVR told me to "Just read a book or something." Thanks to ns4w.org for sending this in.

To describe the difference between Fox's Red Eye and Holy Taco:

A band of painfully unfunny irrelevant latenight douches versus an oft amusing website with quality news.

I defy FOX to cover anything remotely as interesting as this:

    http://www.holytaco.com/2008/04/09/holy-taco-interviews-adult-film-star-...

"source: holytaco.com" really cracked me up.

The reason that they insulted Holy Taco is that no one at FOX News has ever actually sourced anything before and they were unfamiliar with the concept.

  8. KG Says:

I think Holy Taco should sue for punitive damages. They used content created by Holy Taco for the purpose of keeping their pathetic attempt at a TV show going until the next paid advertisement. The revenue earned by the commercials proceding the delivery of Holy Taco content should be partly given to the staff of the site. That guy needs to cut his gay ass hair and find a new job. Fucking loser.

    that is awesome!

    Gotta love FREE PR.

    great site, cheers.
