There's a dude in my office who sits next to me who drinks protein shakes three times a day in an attempt to get buff. I think Jake Gyllenhaal ate that dude. This picture is taken from the set of "Prince of Persia," which I'm guessing from the looks of this photo, is about a whiny hipster who decides he's going to become a homosexual icon.
I don't know if Gyllenhaal is taking steroids or not, but let's do a little case study. Here's Barry Bonds both pre and post steroids:
1. Good lord he blew up. Went from scrawny gay cowboy to the Incredible Hulk.
2. That chick's probably thinking "I hope the roids haven't powerslammed his testicles into dust yet."
3. Sweet! Prince of Persia movie!

yeah, he does not look like he bulked up to much, but he did clearly put on muscle, and drop body fat. if you look at the pic from a year ago, he had no definition, now he is pretty ripped.
Obviously he can’t be taking steroids, it’s not hard to buff your body up if you have a personal trainer to help and lots of money for a role which obviously encourages you to work hard. I look forward to the prince of Persia movie, even if I think he is completely mis-cast. He is too much of a good actor to be doing video game movies.
