The Most Overpaid Actors

September 10th, 2008 | 06:11 am

Forbes magazine released a list today of the most overpaid actors. I was surprised to not find the chick who replaced Kelly in the last season of Saved By The Bell the high school years, when they repeated their senior year for some reason. I'm not sure if she even still acts, but I'm pretty sure she took the worst show on television and made it something that can be used as punishment.   Anyway, here's the top three:

1. Nicole Kidman - For every dollar she was paid, her movies averaged $1 of gross income.
2. Jennifer Garner - For every dollar she was paid, her movies averaged $3.60 of gross income.
3. Tom Cruise - For every dollar he was paid, her movies averaged $4 of gross income.

Who the hell is still paying Nicole Kidman money to be in movies?  Every time I see her in a trailer she's making a face that makes me think to myself, "This must be some drama where she's playing a rape victim" and then the movie turns out to be some romantic comedy about a mistaken identity.  I think the studios should just man up, and put all three of these people in the same movie and not try to hide how terrible it's going to be.  I want to see this movie poster so bad:

Man, this line - Tom Cruise - For every dollar he was paid, "her" movies averaged $4 of gross income. I don't know if that was on purpose, but that made me LAUGH.

  2. Steve Chun Says:

Yeah, I didn't know the media was allowed to start calling overtly homosexual men "her" these days. Kudos to Forbes. One small step for media, one giant leap for everyone who hates Tom Cruise

A Huge Piece of Shit. Don't go giving Hollywood any ideas. They are so desperate for movies they might actually make it.

In the case of Cruise, I think you guys are being to harsh. Do all of you deliver 100% every single day at work? He's made a ridiculous amount of money for himself and studios so far, and that is why hes getting paid the way he is. Granted, hes in a slump these days but who hasnt't experienced one?
