I never really noticed that John McCain sounded like The Penguin from Batman, but I guess that's because I never noticed him wearing a crudely drawn top hat, carrying a purple umbrella and smoking out of a cigarette holder. I'm not sure how I missed that before...
The sheer stupidity of this makes it truly awesome... all those idiots cheering for Palin like she isn't retarded beyond function. And ya, that Penguin costume was genius.
Funny, I noticed during the townhall debate last night whenever he walked around that his shoulders never moved separately from his head, as if they were fused. It kind of made him move with a slight wobble, much like a penguin.
It's his right arm/shoulder, right knee and back. His teeth were knocked out and he was beaten, nearly to death, several times. Through this whole Presidential campaign he has NEVER used this as a political tool even though he could have, and easily swayed some voters.
Regardless of his political position, you would be gathering some pretty bad karma making fun of his physical posture.
Never used it as a tool...Give me a break...The convention was a commercial for it. He opened his speech with it, so...get a clue. I honestly respect the guy for what he went through, and I thank him for his service to our country. But to say it has never been used in this campaign is a falsehood.
Show me one TV commercial that the McCain camp produced that touts his torture--JUST ONE, and I'll stfu. Otherwise keep quiet because you're embarrassing yourself.
Darin: Equating the RNC convention that McCain had nothing to do with organizing the content of, and a mass-produced television commercial for political gain, makes no sense whatsoever. I know you're probably young and idealistic, but every once in a while you should check your facts before spouting off.
Dude, Craig Ferguson of the Late Late Show used the same joke last night! Are his writers reading Holy Taco? I'm a big fan of Ferguson but I'm also a big fan of the taco, (preferably the pink one)!
Dude Craig Ferguson used the same joke last night! I tried to post the CBS video but it got blocked. Search on youtube for "McCain-Obama the tortoise and the hare" and you will see!
Im a huge fan of Craig Ferguson but Im also a huge fan of the taco (preferably the pink one).
The RNC convention was nothing but a commercial. Didn't you see it? It was glib, shallow, and totally devoid of any real substance. There was nothing about McCain's platform, nothing about how he was going to improve America. Just a 2 hour long commercial - it was exactly as you describe it not being.
I'm a Republican too, but, c'mon, tell it like it is. This isnt the old Republican party. There's no substance and the current reign has done a tremendous amount of damage to the future of the party. It'll take decades to get young blood back in.

His poor posture and limited use of his left arm are from injuries sustained while being tortured for 5 years in a Vietnam hell-hole.
Get a clue.

McCain may not have touted his torture specifically, but how many times have we been reminded that he was a POW?
