Er… WAR usually implies blowing shit up and most of those “machines” aren’t even equipped with any form of artillery, and the rest are pure figments of geeky fiction. FAAAAAAAAAAIL!
3, 4 and 16 have served a usefull purpose in ww2. 3 is a remote controlled mine called Goliath, and the predecessor to the modern warrobot. 4 is a long range artillery or mortar,and the last one is a railroad artillery piece, similar to the german Paris Gun, though in smaller scale.
But yes, some of those machines are ridiculous. But if they worked, they would have been engineering marvels.
