It’s Veteran’s Day and that means acknowledging the sacrifices of all the members of our military and our allies around the world whose bravery allows us to make stupid jokes on the internet. A big thanks to each and every one, man, woman or beast. You might scoff at a dog or carrier pigeon but the fact is these animals saved thousands of lives too. Kick ass.

Cats have "served" in the military actually, as have pigs. There was a cat named Simon who won a medal for his service aboard a British frigate. They’re often morale boosters but they also can serve functions such as with pigeons and dogs.
