80′s Cartoon Themes

I don’t know if they were stretching for ideas, or just super coked out, but the 80′s was a crazy/awesome time for cartoons.  Super-Intelligent Dinosaur Aliens?  Robotic Space Cowboys?  Now all the cartoons are super-realistic, like a sponge, a starfish, and a squirrel in a space suit hanging out on the bottom of the ocean.  If I wanted to see that I’d just go snorkeling.  They sure don’t make cartoons like they used to.
