I saw this ad and thought "You are God damned right I want to know how Chedda gets Cheddar." So I clicked. Below is what I saw.
I can not tell you how badly I wanted to name the editor bio sections of this site "About This Playa." Let's just say, very badly. Although, I don't have a picture even 1/1000th as awesome as this to put up. It looks like he was startled by a velociraptor as he was looking for a ticket stub to get back into a movie theater.

I believe Chedda is getting commissions for sending people to the sites. Both sites charge more than the shipping to your credit card. You have to read the fine print. They charge monthly, and the first site charges you to join some Google Profit Program (which is probably the same thing he's doing). If it was just a real blog stating a free program, there would be no reason to market it like that. He uses Google Adsense or some other marketing mumbo jumbo to get commissions.
I saw Chedda's ad pop up on several sites I was on today- including Bossip. This is a MAJOR scam. Just like someone said they charge a "membership fee" of $95 EVERY month and you have to keep the program for 3 months to return it so then they got you for like $300 by then. COMPLETELY BOGUS!!
