According to a recent Mashable article, Facebook has revealed their most checked-into establishments. Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Chili’s topped the list. So, there you have it; Facebook users love free wi-fi and so-so coffee, wings, and jalapeno poppers. Sounds about right! Keep reading, the list is incredibly American!

1. Starbucks

Not surprising. Who doesn’t like a consistently mediocre latte? It’s hard not to check in to a Starbucks, they’ve got free internet and they’re literally on every block. America loves coffee and free things, especially when they’re grossly accessible.

2. Buffalo Wild Wings

Huh? Who keeps doing this? Who is ok with letting all of their friends know that they’re gorging themselves with cheese fries and chicken wings? And why are these people so ok with touching their phones while their fingers full of buffalo sauce?

3. Chili’s

Have you tried their nachos? They’re incredibly unremarkable. Just like the franchise itself.

4. Applebee’s

You can get anything you want at Applebee’s! Except a better life, one tat’s free from the burden of a nagging wife and those unwanted children.

5. McDonald’s

Stop it already.

6. IHOP

The menu at IHOP really shows you the versatility of pancakes. It also show’s you that most Americans think diabetes is a myth.

7. Denny’s

Is anyone checking in here sober? If we could get the average time for a Denny’s check-in, I’m guessing it’d be around 3am.

8. Olive Garden

Unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. It’s a no brainer. Genuine italian food, cooked in a convection oven, or a microwave and delivered to your table. JUST LIKE THE ITALIANS DO IT IN ITALY!

9. T.G.I. Friday’s

I always confuse Applebee’s and T.G.I. Friday’s. Probably because they have a strikingly similar menu and a strikingly similar aesthetic amongst their waitstaff. If you’re looking to flirt with a twenty-two year old small town hot chick, swing by a Friday’s any given evening and keep ordering apps so she’ll have to keep talking to you. If you want to take her home, just tell her you’ll get her out of that town and take her with you to the big city, even if you have to fist fight her dad.

10. The Cheesecake Factory

It’s the only way to celebrate ANYTHING as far as I’m concerned. It’s classy, it’s delicious, it’s decorated like something from a far off land. What better way to turn thirty than to stuff your face with a gourmet burger, and some french fries. Feeling full? Well, ignore that feeling because you haven’t even looked at the Cheesecake menu. That’s like a whole other party/meal!
