Hey GE, Maybe This Bird-As-Plane Metaphor Isn't The Best Idea

Remember that time last week when those birds flew into that plane's engine over New York and everyone almost died? Perhaps someone should let General Electric know about that, so they could pull their commercial that turns birds (which can take down any plane not flown by someone named Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger III) into some sort of cutesy metaphor for actual planes. Maybe, just maybe, this isn't the best metaphor to be making while birds are downing planes all over the Northeast.

    I think that's a bit of a stretch.

They've got to build a plane whose emissions are feathers and blood, and carbon monoxide of course.
