It seems to me, most major institutions have this type of information in a written form somewhere, and at no point did you consult such a source. Yet after hearing bad information from an unreliable source multiple times, you appear to have persisted in being too lazy to figure it out yourself. According to the Washington Post, Texas is actually WAY down the list of percentage of the state population owning guns. Granted, that isn't the per capita number you're bragging about, but the myth that Texans are a bunch of gun toting nuts is just that - a MYTH!
