In Honor of MS-DOS’s 30th Birthday, Ten Of Your Favorite DOS Based Games

Remember MS-DOS? Microsoft’s early operating system. It didn’t have a GUI and it didn’t give a crap about your mouse. It was plain and simple, but the games that ran on it provided some of the most wasteful hours of my youth, and possibly yours. Enjoy.

Duke Nukem

Wolfenstein 3D

Quake

Theme Park

Leisure Suit Larry

IndianaJones

Sim City

Doom

Lemmings

Epic Pinball

  1. ComputerNerd says:

You forgot a few perennial MS-DOS games. Maniac Mansion, Police Quest, Space Quest, Kings Quest, basically anything with the word “Quest” in it and was published by Sierra.

Seems I the only one playing Civilization (and DOOOOOOOOOOOM) in the late 90′s on a commodore 64? Hahaha
