My favorite part of this is after he calls Obama, Osama, he goes “I didn’t meant to say that, I apologize publicly.” He’s at an F-ing press conference, how the hell would he apologize privately? Would he turn away from the mic and whisper to no one “I apologize for my comment?” Then after he apologizes, he tries to go back in to anti-Obama mode. Bad move. Shut it down Johnny, shut it down.

What has our country turned into? Muslims named Osama flying plans into our buildings, and now people years later are voting for a guy with a middle eastern background named OBAMA. Its sad that 51% of the american public are non-educated trash, as shown during the Kerry/Bush presidential race (not that Kerry is any better.. but BUSH?)
First of all, Obama is not Muslim, his father was Muslim before denouncing religion. Secondly, with the way the world is today, it would probably be in the best intrest of our nation to have a leader with ties to the Muslim community seeing as how it is harder to hate one of your own.
Although Obama is far from perfect, I believe that he is the only one of the canidates that has a shot of reducing the tension and creating a workable realationship between them and us. I say this for several reasons. First, he was one of the few to speak out against the war when it was still popular. Second is his background and third, he has a willingness to think before he reacts.
Like it or not, the US is going to occupy the middle east for many years to come.
I like to think that even though we may not be able to get out of this situation, at least we might have someone able to handle it.
And IOU1 is an idiot for thinking Obama is that man that can handle it…

As far as the Muslim world’s views of Obama you area incorrect. There is no worse person in the eyes of a Muslim, than someone that has denounced Allah as his God. The punishment is death for betrayers of the Muslim faith. Hillary Clinton is more respected, even as a woman by Muslims than Obama will be.
First off, Ted Kennedy called him Osama months ago, of course there was no big stink raised about it then was there? Second, directed to IOU1, what background does this guy have? He’s barely been in the senate, has no foreign policy experience AND when you say “handle the situation” that means pull all of our troops out, immediately.
