Toys that better prepare children for life are toys like BB guns and lawn darts. they teach kids about responsibility and that not everything is safe and all about failure or at least that there are consequences to actions and behavior.

It doesn't "live on in a sense" in Syriac. It just straight lives on. Syriac is just a local dialect of Aramaic, of which there are a couple. There is over 400,000 native aramaic speakers in the world today.

Jesus and his contemporaries spoke Aramaic, which is more or less dead, although it lives on in a sense in Syriac... which is dying.
