Where you’ve seen her: Lori Loughlin is best known as Rebecca—Uncle Jesse’s girlfriend/wife— on Full House, the unbelievably popular show that launched the Olsen Twins. But what a lot of people don’t know is that she turned down the lead role in Blue Lagoon, which went to Brooke Shields. There’s no word on if she also turned down the lead to Suddenly Susan.

Pointless quote that makes me think her girl-next-door image isn’t just an image: “Starting from the minute we wake up, we’re together all day having meals as a family, exercising, watching movies and just spending good quality time.”

Really stupid quote from Brooke Shields that has nothing to do with Lori Loughlin: “Smoking kills. If you’re killed, you’ve lost a very important part of your life.
