Miss California Wants To Get “Opposite” Married

So I guess if marriage between a man and a woman is now called "opposite marriage," then marriage between two women must be called "equal marriage." If that’s the case, then you’ll have to excuse me, as I need to download some equal porn for a little while.

taking religion and morales out of this issue, biologically females and males are made to reproduce. it is your call whether being attracted to the same sex is something wrong with the person biologically.
think about that. people who are in same sex marriages are just hurting themselves, they cant reproduce and eventually their family will die off bc of that.
(long term consequences) Darwin survival of the fittest, species that cant reproduce will not survive, in general terms.

people stop comparing this to slavery and women’s rights, this controversial issue should be compared to legalizing marijuana, bc homosexuality is about a person’s personal perference, which biology and religion strongly oppose

Well said. I think from now on, whenever someone uses the word “faggot” I’m going to assume that they are talking about a bundle of sticks. If we all choose to ignore the hateful meaning behind a word, it will eventually lose it’s power.

So Perez, if that is your real name, what was the “correct” answer again? What’s he doing turning what should by all means, be a vapid, superficial dog and pony show into a political soapbox. And it’s quite humorous that he claims she’s a bigot all the while using SEXIST terms like b—- and c— about her in the media. Who’s the bigot??? F Perez and his belief that 5% of the population should be catered too. Gay men already have the right to “marry”, just not other men.

  4. Anonymous says:

completely different my friend. black people being black and enslaved is SOOOO much different than just a bunch of people complaining they want to be able to marry the same sex. who said they cant live together? they can still live together and its still wrong, but they are allowed to cause its a free country. they just dont have to go around making there stupid gayness a part of our lives in america. keep it to themselves.

  5. Anonymous says:

    you are so gay.

the universe was created in 7 days. and yes, all creatures apeared on the earth exactly they are today, some of them just dont exist anymore. the bible is not infallible, and is historically sound, which historians would agree.

so i will be praying that god shows you the truth my friend. or else you can join Satan for an eternity of torture after you leave this world.

  7. Anonymous says:

she did not contradict her statement at all. she said its great we live in a country where we can choose, and that her personal choice is not the gay choice. and that is a perfect response to me.

  8. Anonymous says:

Yes, she has the right to choose, but she does not have the right to choose for other people. How do you think she voted on Prop 8? If she voted no, I rescind my criticism. I just hate it when people pretend like they are understanding of people’s choices (like the desire for gay marriage) and then vote to remove that choice. If you are against gay marriage, at least be honest about it and don’t be surprised when other people look down on you as much as you look down on them.

  9. Anonymous says:

Lol, good for her. She didn’t buckle to what the gay guy wanted to hear… Is that really that tool’s name? Lame

The actions of Mr. Perez were nothing short of a hate crime. He targetted this woman, who openly admitted that she was a christian, for this question. Her answer was none aggressive and stated that not something she was willing to practice personally. Perfectly good reply. His ‘scoring’ of her answer was solely for his gratification and advancement of his views. It was not based on her ability to speak or to form a reply to a cold question. He deliberately victimized her and her chance at the crown. She may or may not have won, but he made sure she could not. This was the action of a bully and a great example of the intolerant nature of some of the members of the gay movement.

I can not comprehend how people can ignore so many converging lines of evidence in support of the ancient age of the universe and evolution just because of Genesis.

It just doesn’t make sense. If God created just two people,Adam and Eve, and Eve gave birth to Cain and Able where did Cain’s wife come from? Maybe we share such genetic similarity with apes because Cain had no choice but to marry an ape. That would explain everything.

  16. myspace.com/redshagcarpet says:

    Here’s a few things:

    1. You really didn’t take out religion in your arguement. (See first 8 words and last 6 words)

    2. “people stop comparing this to slavery and women’s rights, this controversial issue should be compared to legalizing marijuana, bc homosexuality is about a person’s personal perference, which biology and religion strongly oppose”

Isn’t religion a choice as well?

    2. “people stop comparing this to slavery and women’s rights, this controversial issue should be compared to legalizing marijuana, bc homosexuality is about a person’s personal perference, which biology and religion strongly oppose”

There are biological factors to homosexuality as well. Do your homework.

    3. The reality of the situation regarding american families in the US:

We’re no longer the traditional family in the Leave It To Beaver sort of way. it hasn’t been in quite a while. How many single parents are out there? I believe that the national figure for divorce is in the 50-60% nationally. If you want to maintain that status quo ( that hasn’t been in existence for a good while) then I suggest we make divorces illegal. So what if people end up living their lives in destructive lies, it looks good on pictures…for the funeral.

    4. Biologically, you’re right men and women do procreate. So let’s do this: Let’s invalidate the marriges of infertile couples, old people, and people who choose to adopt. Forget the fact that they may love each other or any other factors. Relationships are only about popping babies out, right?

    5. Evolutionally speaking, yes, the gays may die off, but are you seriously saying that they can not contribute a tiny bit to society, at the very least pay their share of taxes. If you are, I am completely for that! No more Sales and federal tax, I’m going on vacation! Woohoo!!!:-)

    6. As For the Gay Marriage thing. If you’re opposed to it, don’t get gay married. Marry a woman if you’re a man or a man if you’re a woman. Is the fact that someone else out there keeping you at half mast or less?

Here’s the deal, and this goes to BOTH sides of the pro gay and anti gay marriage thing: Talk to each other. I don’t meant in rallies and picket lines. Talk to each other like we’re actually real people because that’s what we are. We’re both trying to do the best that we can and trying to do the right thing, but I think that both sides have forgotten that the other group is also trying to do the same thing. We’ve replaced each other in our mind with some evil stereotype set on destroying the world. There’s certainly enough propaganda ( and money being made) on BOTH sides to push us in that direction. We’re all diverse people. Not all gays are the same, not all religious people are the same. try getting to know them; you may not be as different as you were led to believe. The otherside is not the Devil.

  17. Anonymous says:

It cracks me up when gay people think everyone should conform to their beliefs… She probably got deducted points because that hater didn’t hear the answer he wanted to hear. Can you reason who the bigot is in that situation? Kudos for her.

  18. Anonymous says:

I personally don’t understand what legal right that gay people claim they are being denied in California (or many other states).

Are they being denied the right to get married? No, any man (gay or straight) can marry any woman (gay or straight). The law applies to both groups equally. There is no discrimination, as far as an individual right to marry is concerned.

“But the law doesn’t allow two loving adults to get married!” True, in a way, but the law doesn’t prohibit two people from loving each other. And the legal right to marry has nothing to do with love. It has never been a requirement that two people be in love in order to marry.

Gay people don’t want to gain any rights they don’t currently have. What they want to do is replace the current set of rights (which apply to everyone equally), with a new set of rights that is highly offensive to a majority of people in virtually every state that has put the issue to a popular vote. To allow that to be changed through judicial fiat (as it has in a few states), would trample on the Constitutional right to vote that most adults have in this nation.

The problem with too many people who are pushing for gay marriage is that they really don’t have the legal knowledge to make a valid argument in their favor.

  19. Anonymous says:

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong
    1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

    2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

    3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

    4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

    5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

    6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

    7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

    8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

    9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

    10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans

yes slavery was a product of their time.

  21. Anonymous says:

It’s about EQUALITY you stupid fuck. Everyone should have equal rights regardless of any religious or sexual preferances. period.

  22. Anonymous says:

So I guess if you had lived in the 1840′s you would have just wanted us all to ignore the whole slavery issue too. Or in the 1920-60′s you would have wanted to ignore the whole women’s rights issue. I guess the world would be a better place if black people where back where they belonged, in the fields picking our cotton, and the women back where they belonged, barefoot and pregnant in front of the stove without a say in our political process.

That does sound like an ideal world for everyone.

  23. My Opinion says:

Yes she answered strong and to her opinion and gay Marriage is disgusting
I don’t mind people playing around but don’t call it MARRAGE
why are gay people so offended by someone’s opinion they must be thinking that “I’m doing something abnormal”
and that’s my opinion so take it easy

  24. matt says:

    hahaha, great points ;)

  25. Anonymous says:

read the bible. gay marriage is wrong. god made adam and eve. not adam and adam. if same sex was right how come they can not reproduce? its not something normal. its definitely an imbalance or a mental sickness that makes them attracted to the same sex. It is just not natural.

  26. Anonymous says:

The Bible also implicitly accepts slavery. Does that mean you do, too? No? then I guess God does make mistakes.

  27. Anonymous says:

right on! this whole gay agenda that the gay people are pushing so much is really ridiculous. its either you agree with them and have no opinion of your own or they get angry. either way nobody wins because everyone is so thick headed and wants their own way. how about we just do what they did in the past. pretend it doesn’t exist! gay people can go back in the closet! that sounds like the most productive plan ever. instead of arguing about non-important matters such as sexuality, we can focus on things that ACTUALLY DO MATTER! like making the world a better place. stopping hunger…etc..

  28. Anonymous says:

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL “gay Marriage is disgusting” “why are gay people so offended by someone’s opinion they must be thinking that “I’m doing something abnormal” You just asked why their so offended when what they’re doing, making love, the same thing you attempt to do with whatever hole in the wall you can find, is being described as “disgusting.” Come again?

I think its really dumb how people really hate, not dislike, hate gay people. This is just like the KKK back in the early 50′s “im gonna hang me a nigger” todays “nigger” is a “faggot” people just NEED something to hate. At first it was Christians back when polytheism was all the rage. Then it grew into what we know today as hatred towards blacks, then it was womens rights, now its gay rights. See what im saying? All through human history we need a small group of people to rally against and slander. This world would be better without the bible, without this ideal of a bearded man living in the clouds who loves you, yet punishes you for eating red meat on a Friday. When will humans reach a point where we go, wait a minute we are all the same, we are all the same creature, we are all here on this earth to live to be free and to prosper. There is no “I” in We, if we intend to survive and make it out of this solar system, then we need to stop hating each other, we must work for a better world where people have the same rights to freedom and the pursuit of happiness. Yet i guess i need to keep my “Faggot” mouth shut because logic and reasoning is taboo in this current world.

  33. myspace.com/redshagcarpet says:

    haha, oh so eloquent lol.

  34. Jason says:

I find it interesting that all the people saying how much God hates the gays and how “unnatural” gays are sound exactly like the same people who were talking about how evil interracial marriage was back in the 1960s. They used the bible then too, and they sure as hell talked about how unnatural it was for different races to marry. You’re all just spouting off the same BS as those racist fucks back in the 1960s. How do you justify that?

  35. Anonymous says:

Wow, a stupid beauty queen? Alert the media.

And now she gets to be all ‘She Said Yes’ about it and play the victim card because her imaginary friend and her daddy say being a bigot is a-ok? Someone needs to Chris Brown this ho.

You can have whatever opinions you want. Supporting legal discrimination makes you a bigot. If you’re fine with that, or too much of an airhead to realize what it means, then have fun with your life.

  36. Anonymous says:

Fitting with your logic (or lack there of), if God made all of creation than he also must have made homosexuals since they exist.

I think the world would be a much better place if people stopped using a 2000 year old book or the words of some old guy in Italy to justify their prejudices. “The bible says homosexuality is wrong.” So what? The bible also says that the universe was created in 7 days and that all creatures appeared on the earth exactly the way they are today. Since this is incorrect (which most scientists would attest to), then other parts of the bible can be incorrect as well. The bible was not written by God, it was written by man. While God may be infallible, man is not so it stands that the bible is not infallible.

    Learn to think for yourself.

  37. Anonymous says:

The argument over gay marriage is so trivial, just give them their rights already, they aren’t going to stop being gay just because they can’t get married. I really don’t give a shit about the gay community as long as they don’t personally attack me.

  38. Anonymous says:

whats wrong with hate its human nature. being gay is illegall in over 60 counrties and in some punished by beheading. no hate just the truth. obviosuly alot of people think its wrong and has nothing to do with hate. and wouldnt she be popular in her state as how they voted against gay marriage. that was the greatest when state with the most fags also has the most fag haters. gotta love it.

  39. Anonymous says:

So, it doesn’t seem hypocritical to anyone that most of you are bashing on gay people that bash on straight people…?

I’m straight myself, but I still think they should be able to do what any straight couple can do. I’m sorry most people are too immature to think of two guys kissing (Oh, but it’s totally hot when two girls are going at it. Nice double standard) Being gay shouldn’t make you have less rights, is my point. Just like being black, or a woman. It’s only a matter of time before a gay Martin Luther King jams his equal rights dick right in your homophobic assholes.

Anyways, that’s my take on it. Go ahead and throw your petty insults around, but stop acting so high and mighty, thinking you guys aren’t doing exactly what the people you’re hating on are doing.

and also, god did not intend for us to have sicknesses. he did not intend for us to die. adam and eve chose to listen to evil, and since that day we have been punished until the end, when everything is restored and evil is no more.

I don’t have as much problem with her opinion as I do with the way she expressed it. She said that it is great that we live in a country where people can choose same-sex marriage or heterosexual (opposite?) marriage. But that isn’t true at all. You can only choose same sex marriage in 4 states currently. Then she goes on to completely contradict her first statement by saying that she doesn’t believe in same-sex marriage. What a thoughtless and close-minded answer: “It’s great that gays can marry as long as it isn’t in “my country.”"

im sorry but god does not punish you for eating red meat on Friday. that’s old testament, and old law. Jesus died on the cross so we would be free of all the oppressions of the old law. and I’ll tell you another thing, god doesn’t even make us follow the 10 commandments, a true christian doesn’t have to follow the 10 commandments , because they wouldn’t do any of the things it says not to do!

This annoys the hell out of me. Any straight person hates to answer this question because we don’t want to stir coup d’homos. I’d have been nervous, too – “Oh shit, if I just say all homos should be exiled they’ll revolt. What do I do???”

The majority of Americans are still opposed to gay marriage and that’s why it keeps getting shot down – even in liberal California. I’m glad she answered honestly, even if it wasn’t the most graceful response.

I’d like to take Perez Hilton and set him on fire – wait, he’s already flaming…
