The Most Beautiful Goat In Saudi Arabia

November 3rd, 2008 | 06:01 pm

I've never been to Saudi Arabia, but when I was in grade school there was a Saudi Arabian kid in my class.  We went on a class field trip once and I forgot my lunch, and he shared his with me, so overall I think Saudi Arabian people are pretty cool.  I'm a little upset with him now, though, because during that lunch he failed to inform me that Saudi Arabians really like goats.  In fact, it's more than "like".  They like-like their goats.  Pictured above is the Official "Most Beautiful Goat In Saudi Arabia", and here are some details:

"Owners of pedigree "Najdi" goats from around the Gulf region converged on Riyadh this week, hoping to win the prize for top male and female goat, following in the footsteps of lucrative camel competitions which have taken off in recent years."

Despite my limited knowledge of global affairs, I know that Saudi Arabia has a lot of oil, and therefore a lot of money, so it's slightly possible that they may someday rule the world.  I'm not saying we should freak out or anything, but if you happen to come across a really good looking goat in the near future, it may not be a bad investment.  Just think about how it might pay off.  Someday, this could be yours:
