Look in this man’s eyes. Can you see how tired and beaten down he is? The deep lines on his cheeks tell the story of a man who’s wishing for death to come and take him away from his exhausting existence. But his wizened face also has a bit of wisdom, and he’s willing to share it with you. According to the BBC:
Nigerian Mohammed Bello Abubakar, 84, has advised other men not to follow his example and marry 86 women.
The former teacher and Muslim preacher, who lives in Niger State with his wives and at least 170 children, says he is able to cope only with the help of God.
“A man with 10 wives would collapse and die, but my own power is given by Allah. That is why I have been able to control 86 of them,” he told the BBC.
I don’t go looking for them, they come to me. I will consider the fact that God has asked me to do it and I will just marry them.”
Right after he said that, he took off his hat and a shitload of babies fell out.
Well, thank God for this article. I was just on the verge of marrying my 84th wife, but after listening to Bello and looking into his cold, dark, lifeless, fading eyes I think I’m going to cut it off at 83. I wouldn’t want to go overboard.

GOD did not tell that man to have all them wives……yes he made woman so that man will not be alone, but not to have that many. it is meant for man to love only one woman and multiply with that one woman. He’s serving a idol GOD and NOT the 1 true GOD!
Just think he is not even ashamed to say that he is crazy. He should go and hide his face.
His eyes are those of contentment and satisfaction. He looks happy and at peace with himself.
The wives are not stupid. The get to live in a compound and have the love and support of all the other women without having to have problems with many men, just one Older one. The Children are brought up in a society where they are all related and have the support of 86 Mothers. The wives are not pestered for sex every night as they can alternate at 4 x a year.
No doubt that not all the 150 children are probably not his.
The fact is that the Women Married him by choice and did not wish to finish their marriage, afterwards.
There are a lot of lessons to learn from this man, stamina respect for women and Fatherhood being some of them.
After all is said and done, the Christian model of marriage has always been faulty, serial monomgamy, split up families, mistresses creating lying and deceit.
