Hey guys, another poster has observed that philosopher suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPA), the traits of which:
1. Has a grandiose sense of self-importance
2. Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty or ideal love (megalomania)
3. Believes they are “special” and can only be understood by, or should associate with, people (or institutions) who are also “special” or of high status
4. Requires excessive admiration

9. Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

I don’t know about you, but I think this is an absolute Bulls-eye.
Being that philosopher will by his very nature deny this, and being the he hasn’t got a job and nothing better to to do than hang on HT. And being that this disorder is rarely treatable, because they are too narcissistic to seek help. It may very well serve our own sanity better to only abuse him once each time he posts something banal, and not get into futile arguments thereon.
